By creating an account or using GivBase, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the organization you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

GivBase is intended for nonprofit food pantries, food banks, and similar hunger-relief organizations. Free access is available to qualifying 501(c)(3) organizations operating in the United States. We reserve the right to verify eligibility and to terminate accounts that do not qualify.

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of your organization to create an account.

The free tier includes client check-in, visit history, and TEFAP and CSFP reporting tools. These features are free for every qualifying pantry, with no time limit, no credit card required, and no trial period.

Optional paid communication tools (SMS notifications, bulk messaging) may be available as add-ons. These are entirely optional and will be clearly labeled as such. The core service will never require payment.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share passwords. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of GivBase complies with applicable laws, including those governing the collection and storage of personal information about the individuals your organization serves.

You agree not to use GivBase to collect data beyond what is needed to serve pantry clients, to attempt to access another organization's data, to reverse-engineer or tamper with the service, or to use the service for any purpose other than food assistance operations.

Your organization owns the data you enter into GivBase. We do not claim any rights to it. You can request a full export or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

By using the service, you grant Wortham Innovations LLC a limited license to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

We aim to keep GivBase available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, update features, or in rare cases take the service offline. We will provide reasonable notice for planned downtime.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify account administrators by email. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, are used fraudulently, or are inactive for an extended period. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination and to provide a data export.

GivBase is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Wortham Innovations LLC is not liable for data loss, service interruptions, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of GivBase will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. For free-tier users, that limit is zero.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict of law principles.
